The Romaniacs was a Canadian band formed in 1984 and disbanded in 1995. They described their style as "musical ethno-fusion" combining Eastern European, Gypsy jazz, and pop. They made extensive use of costumes and props, including a large map, during their live shows. Members of the band included: * Calvin Cairns (aka Myron Joseph, king romaniac) - violin * Steve Bengtson (aka Steffy Levine) - mandolin and vocals * Scott White - bass * William (Billy) Butler - guitar * Danny Greenspoon - guitar * Ron Thompson - guitar * Richard Baker - guitar In addition to touring extensively in Canada and the U.S. the group also toured Australia in 1988, including a week-long appearance at the Canada Pavilion during the World's Fair in Brisbane. They released a total of three albums: * ''Ethno-Fusion'' * ''World on Fire'' * ''The Ecstasy of the Martyr'' (a compilation released only in Japan) ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The Romaniacs」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
